What are the Bookstore hours?

Our online store is open 24 hours a day. We are open for in-person shopping at the Abbotsford campus between 9:30 am and 4:00 pm Monday-Friday.
We are open for in-person shopping at the Chilliwack campus between 9:30 am and 4:00 pm Monday-Friday. Chilliwack Campus is closed between 1pm-2pm for lunch.
We are closed on all statutory holidays and weekends. 

Can I pick up my order?

Yes! You can pick up your order Monday-Friday between 10:00am-4:00pm for Abbotsford Campus
9:30am-4pm for Chilliwack Campus
After receiving email confirmation that your order is ready just come by the Bookstore. During peak times there is no need to wait in line, we have a pick up area designated.
Please make sure to have your web order number and valid UFV Student ID or government issued ID ready.

How long will the Bookstore hold my pick-up order?

We hold pick-up orders for 30 days. After the deadline your order will be cancelled and refunded, but a 10% restocking fee per item will be charged.

How long will it take to get my order?

Order turnaround depends on volume of orders. Online orders are typically processed and shipped within 1-3 business days.

If we are sold out of your item(s), we will contact you by email.

At the beginning of each term, when volumes are high, this turnaround may take 2-4 business days from the time your order was placed until it was shipped or ready for pick-up. Allow for additional shipping time for your order if you selected the shipping option. 

Throughout the process you will receive automated email communications that provide updates on your order.

Can someone else pick up my order?

Yes, someone else can pick-up your order on your behalf but you will need to provide their name in an email to

The person picking up the order will need a copy of your web order number, and also need to show their valid UNBC student card or government issued ID.

How can I track my order?

As soon as a shipping label is generated for your order, you will receive an email with tracking information. You may need to wait up to one business day before the tracking number is active on the courier's website.

How do I know my order went through?

As soon as you successfully place your order, an email confirmation is sent to the email address that you provided. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive an email to your inbox. 
Please make sure you do not close the order window before you see a confirmation message, otherwise a payment may go through but the order may not be sent to the Bookstore for processing.

How do I access my etext?

When you purchase your etext you will received a confirmation email from the Bookstore with an access code and a link to enter the access code.
Please check your spam folder if you do not receive an email to your inbox. 

My etext is not working, what do I do?

Please contact the publisher directly if you have any technical issues with your access.

Can I add to, cancel, or change my order?

Once your order has been placed it cannot be edited as payment is applied immediately. If you need to refund your order please email

Can I order online if I am a sponsored student?

Yes! You will receive an email from the Bookstore letting you know your sponsorship has been entered, and you will get a special link that you need to use in order to be able to select sponsorship as a tender for your order.

How do I use my Gift Card online?

If you select Gift Card as a tender you will be required to enter the code you received on your Gift Card receipt in order for payment to be applied to the card.

I don't remember my Gift Card code, what do I do?

If you do not remember your Gift Card code please email with the email you provided at time of purchase and we can reset your code.
We will not reset Gift Card codes over the phone as we need to verify identify of card holder.

Do you have a book buy back or rental program?

No, we currently do not buy books back or have textbook rentals. We do have a selection of used textbooks.
If you have books you want to sell please use the Bookstore poster board outside our campus location to advertise your books for sale.
